Als ouder/verzorger van een zwemmend kind gaat u ongetwijfeld wel eens mee naar een zwemwedstrijd. U zit dan misschien wel met een stopwatch op de tribune en klokt zoveel en zo goed als mogelijk is de tijden van uw kind. Dikwijls gebeurt dit van grote afstand en mede daardoor wijken uw tijden af van de officiële tijden. Frustrerend? Och, het gaat erom dat u een ongeveer tijd hebt.
Dat kan natuurlijk anders/beter. Door official te worden. U zit dan niet meer op de tribune, hoeft niet alleen maar mee om te rijden en u klokt betere tijden voor uw kind en andere kinderen. Kortom, u bent actief bezig en maakt het daarmee tevens mogelijk dat zwemwedstrijden voor uw en andere kinderen georganiseerd kunnen blijven worden.
